Through slowness and bone deep presence we move to feel beyond skin.
We’ll sink through the layers of our physical body into the lavish world of nourishment and connection, through safety and attunement, where there exists no goal beyond that.
What is Rituals of Touch?
Rituals of Touch is a space where contact is, first and foremost, devotional and deeply ritualistic. A space where bodies can meet in reverence and honesty and open in the timespan that is natural to them.
There is a potent realm that can be found when we go beyond searching, expectation and fast gratification, when we dare to become intimate in a way that doesn’t rely on polarity or performance and where touch is not driven by sexual intent.
When we surrender any ounce of ‘trying’ or ‘doing ’to the moment of communication between two bodies as they are now, in each new moment, with love guiding them, something truly magical opens up.
We believe these states can only arise when we slow down, really slow down, and when we are honest with ourselves and one another. Healing, transformation, or even erotic opening (the one that arises on its own, not the one that is preplanned), is a natural emergence from meeting the body with a purity of presence, love and nurturing.
Testimonial
“Thank you both SO much for the portal you invoked, opened and shared with us last night.
I feel grateful, nourished, honoured, and connected to a deeper place inside myself. (…).
It meets some need I’ve been calling for, in my quest for community, and friendship, allyship; the support to help each other stay connected and trustful in this deeply sourced and sacred soul-space.
There is so much power within me, and yet I know I cannot do this alone.
Thank you, I’m so glad you’re here!”
- J. S
What matters to us?
At Rituals of Touch, it is our belief that experiences born from this kind of organic unfolding and staying in the moment are more sustainable and holsitic than those that push the body into a particular state.
The changes that occur can be integrated with more ease and support the receiver to move towards a level of transformation that is in alignment with their authentic pace of evolution and digestible for their nervous system.
Rituals of Touch is an offering to the part of you that longs to be met without performance.
At the heart of this event is a simple intention: to learn the language of conscious, reverent touch and to remember how good it feels to truly meet another human being without rushing, without pretending, without losing yourself.
For this we return to the body gently.
And as always, very slowly.
Testimonial
“ I really appreciated the non-sexualised approach to your temple experience and the simplicity and slowness of the first few hours of facilitation. (...)
I agree with you that it is so important to remind us all that touch doesn't always have to lead to sexual connection, but more of a soul-based and human-human form of connection. (...)
This was my first temple experience and I'm glad it was a slower, gentler, non-sexual space. Thank you for that. I would definitely be open to joining future temples and workshops and inviting some friends as well. I also wonder how this work can fit into a wider frame of human development/expansion.”

WHAT TO EXPECT
The day begins slowly, and your day begins with YOU. In both the individuals and the couples workshops, we will be guiding you into practices that support a grounding into your body and your experience first and foremost.
It is only from this anchored and intentional place, that we can begin to move into connection.
With presence, with slowness, with attunement.
With the body safe, awake and available.
From here, we move into consent work - discovering your authentic & alive yes, your empowered & embodied no, and the vitality that comes with moving from a place of honesty.
In the couples workshop, you will be staying within your pair throughout the day. You will gently unravel the layers that are wrapped tightly around your deeper desires, needs, and boundaries. With vulnerability and courage, you may find yourself shedding the masks that are keeping you from deeper, truer intimacy.
In the individuals workshop, everyone will be weaving a beautiful web of connection, meeting each participant and exploring what it is to approach each moment as authentically as possible. These exercises start slow, and there is never any expectation to go above and beyond your own boundaries. This day is about listening and attuning to the nuances of your own experience.
From here, we move into more specific touch-centric practices. First with yourself - as always - and then moving into connection with your pair, or others. You will be guided into techniques that support intentionality, presence, and devotion. You’ll learn how to touch in a way that doesn’t demand anything in return. You’ll learn how to receive in a way that feels empowered and surrendered. For couples, these practices deepen connection, communication, and intimacy. For individuals, this work seeks to build confidence, skill, and embodied intuition.
We will then bring it all together, dropping into a ceremonial space and sharing a ritualised touch experience - either within your couple, or in a small group.
Ritual can be a space of great mystery, reverence, and beauty… and this experience is an opportunity to sink into a place of worship for yourself, for the human form, for life itself… it is an invitation to release any expectations, agendas, or goals… and learn what it means to be truly present. This is what all of the work is truly for.
The day closes with integration - some gentle sharing with your person/people, grounding and returning to self.
For Individuals
-
The intention of this offering, from us to you, is to help you come a little closer to yourself and to others in a way that feels grounded, honest, and deeply human. Everything we explore here unfolds through your own embodied experience, while meeting a variety of partners throughout the day. These exchanges are designed to help you attune, listen, and touch without performance, to feel connection without expectation.
This space invites you to discover new pathways of presence, communication, and touch that you can bring into all parts of your life. You’ll have the chance to explore different nervous systems, learn how to offer and receive touch with clarity, and notice how your body responds when the pace finally slows enough for you to feel what’s real.
Throughout the workshop, you’re invited to move at the pace that feels true for your system. You can pause, breathe, step back, or lean in more fully whenever needed. Everything is invitational.
There will be demonstrations from K and Brighid throughout the day.
We’ll explore:
• the different forms of touch, in particular how to slow touch
• the difference between giving, receiving, taking and allowing (Wheel of consent)
• how to communicate what you want with clarity
• how to track your boundaries and honour them in real time
• simple techniques that help you relax into connection without losing yourself

SUNDAY IS FOR INDIVIDUALS who
are seeking to deepen in their own embodiment and lean into connection with others through the pathway of devotional touch.

PLEASE NOTE:
You don’t need a partner to join this event (but you’re welcome to come with one. Please mind that it won’t be possible to do all the practices paired up and we strongly encourage different meeting throughout the day)
Throughout the day you will circulate through the group, hopefully meeting everybody in the room and exploring a vast array of unique touch-based experiences
Touch is non-sexual and does not include any genital touch techniques

The intention of this offering, from us to you, is to help you come a little closer to one another. Everything we explore here unfolds within your own couple dynamic: you won’t be practicing with others, except for the occasional moment of group sharing through voice. This space is created for you to meet one another in new ways, to awaken fresh pathways of touch, presence and conscious intimacy that you can continue to explore long after the experience finishes.
Throughout the workshop you’re invited to move at the pace that feels true for your body and your connection. You can slow down, take pauses, breathe, step out for a moment, or lean in more deeply, whatever supports your system.
There will be bodywork and touch demonstrations from K and Brighid.
We’ll explore:• communication practices that make honest expression feel simple and natural
• how to name boundaries and needs
• slow, devotional touch sequences that melt tension and open the body
• different forms of touch (soothing, activating, grounding, nurturing, sensual)
• how to build a touch ritual that fits your relationship
• how to repair moments of distance through presence instead of conflict
• the Wheel of Consent and how it reshapes giving, receiving and allowing and taking

BRIGHID ROSE
Brighid Rose is a ritual bodyworker, women’s pelvic & womb mentor, artist, mystic, and avid devotee of holy humanness. Brighid’s work and offerings to the world are all anchored in the premise of gnosis; that each of us carry within us the precise wisdom and medicine needed for our own revolutionary path. It is through sinking into the truth of our own experience as it reveals moment by moment, that we can rest into the core of who we really are.

K
K is a Tantra teacher and international facilitator who is dedicated to connecting individuals and groups to remembering the sacredness that lives at the core of everything. She has spent four years living at Highden Mystery School and immersing herself in the realms of temple rituals and the intimate ways to meet that don’t require sexuality but art and presence. Her access point to the sacred is expressed through the frequencies of beauty.
K & Brighid share a longing for a world wherein we can all meet in a space of deep listening, gentle attunement and pure aliveness. A space in which we are guided, moved and informed by the deep inner knowing that lives within us all.
Rituals of Touch was created from that place, a shared desire for touch to feel real again. A touch that doesn’t skim the surface or perform an idea of intimacy.
A pace slow enough that you can feel what’s actually happening beneath your hands, instead of moving from instinct, habit or whatever you think you’re supposed to be doing.
A desire for connection to be honest and true.
In this workshop, touch becomes a way of paying attention. A way of meeting another person without the usual noise.
May this space give you a chance to remember the power that your presence and love really has.
FAQS
-
No. The work is sensual in the sense that it involves presence, slowness and embodied awareness through which eros might arrive, but it is not intentionally sexual.
-
For the individuals workshop, yes; you’ll rotate between partners during some exercises so you can learn through variety and attunement.
For the couples workshop, you stay exclusively with your partner the whole time.
-
If you are in an active state of trauma, we recommend you seek 1-1 therapeutic support. Whilst we are both trained bodyworkers and therapists, this is not the space that will support you fully if in an active trauma state.
Of course, it is possible these responses may emerge on the day, and if so, we will have a capable team to support you through this and come back into regulation.
However, attending this group workshop is not beneficial if you are in a distressed and unstable mental state. Please seek appropriate support if this is the case, such as a body-based trauma therapist.
-
Totally normal. The space is structured, guided and held with sensitivity. You’ll be supported to move at your own pace and you can always opt out of anything that doesn’t feel right.
-
Yes. It can actually give you a foundation of communication and embodied awareness early on, which many couples never receive. Everything moves at your pace.
-
Absolutely. Long-term couples often say the workshop helps them soften habitual dynamics, rekindle sensuality, or reconnect in a way that feels fresh and relieving.
-
Yes. K & Brighid will model practices to help you understand pacing, intention, clarity, consent and different qualities of touch.
-
You’re welcome to arrive with a friend, but partner rotation is part of the learning. It supports attunement, variety and experiencing different nervous systems. You’ll have opportunities to reconnect with your friend during breaks.
-
You won’t be thrown into anything. We build the container slowly, beginning with grounding, boundaries, consent frameworks and low-stakes exercises. Most people feel surprisingly safe and connected within the first hour. But you will never asked to do anything that you’re not comfortable with.
-
Yes. All genders, orientations and relationship configurations are welcome. The practices are not structured around hetero polarity.
